Drudix photo books - FAQ (Installation)
The Drudix Book Designer has the following hardware requirements:
Note: If you are planning on editing larger books, 1-2 GB RAM or more are recommended.
The Drudix Book Designer needs about 8 MB of free disk space. Keep in mind that created designs also take disk space. Depending on the amount of images used this will be between approx. 40 and 800 MB per book.
The Drudix Book Designer is currently not yet executable on these operating systems. However the support of these operating systems is planned.
The Drudix Book Designer requires the .NET Framework, which is provided by Mocrosoft for free.
The installation program will automatically detect, if the .NET Framework is installed and also downloads the required files from the internet.
Additional software is not needed for the Drudix Book Designer.
Depending on the book format the images should have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi (dots per inch), to assure an ideal result after printing. Information on the quality of the images used can also be found in the Drudix Book Designer.
The automatic update system does not work with this. You get the error message "Cannot perform update" and then "There is no update available". - Simply go to our website and install the new version 1.3 from there. With this new version the automatic update will work again.

After downloading the setup you can execute it by double clicking on the icon.
