Tutorial - Order your book
Here we explain you how to order your selfmade book.
Note: If you stay with your cursor on the underlined words, you will get an image about the described option.
Introduce order transaction
To order your product, click on the button "Order product".
Afterwards it will be checked if your book is
faultless .
Pages with faults are listed here and can be corrected by clicking on the button "Edit again".
Please note that you can order your book with warnings, but we recommend to correct also these warnings, except they are formally wanted.
To correct possible faults and warnings much better and faster, you have the possibility to print the error list or to save it on your desktop.
When you are satisfied with your design you can click on the button "Order".
Then the log in screen appears, in wich you can log in with your user data of Drudix. If you don't have a Drudix user account, you can create one easily and for free.
Create user account
Select the menu item "I'm a new customer" and fill out the necessary fields, like user name and password. Click on the button "Next". A further
entry mask
occurs, in which you can enter your adress data.
With a click on the button "Save" you get back to the user interface of Drudix. After that we will send you instantly an e-mail to the denoted e-mail adress. This e-mail contains a link, which you confirm with a click. Therewith your user account is created. At future orders you only have to log in with your user name and password. The registration process is only necessary once.
Select the menu item "I'm a registered customer" and enter your log in data. A click on the button "Next" opens the order sheet.
Order sheet
In the order sheet you can set the number of books. Book title and order number are optional. You can also choose express shipping and a priority production.
To transmit the book data you have several possibilities:
- Sending data via internet
- Burn data on CD or DVD
- Copy data on data medium (e.g. usb-stick)
We recommend that you send your book data via internet, if you have a broadband internet connection. Select this option and click on "Next". If you don't have a broadband internet connection, you are able to burn the data on CD/DVD or copy it on a data medium.
If you want to burn your data on a CD/DVD, choose the corresponding option. A window opens automatically.
Insert an empty data medium into your CD/DVD writer and click on the button "Burn data on data medium".
If you don't have a CD/DVD writer, you can copy your data also on a usb-stick or a SD-card. Therefore choose the option "Copy data on hard disk...". A window opens, in which you can assign a
storage location
of your book data. Copy the book data on the data medium after the order process.
Note:
If you don't send the data via internet and wish that you get your CD back, please insert also a prepaid envelope. But please note that a CD is cheaper then the shipping costs.
Redeem a coupon
In the field "Coupon or promotion code" you can - if existent - enter a coupon code. Click on the button "Next" to get to the order acceptance. Here will the detracted sum of the coupon be listed.
Note: The small barcode is not available in connection with promotion coupons.
Order acceptance
The order acceptance gives you information about the single prices and the total price of your current order.
To proceed please accept the right of return conditions and our general terms and conditions. You can read them by clicking on the link below the two checkboxes.
If you have accepted these conditions click on the button "Next".
Payment method
Thereupon you can choose the payment method. You can select between instant transfer, prepayment and invoice.
When you have choosen the payment method prepayment your order will be produced as soon as we have received the money from you. Do you have allready ordered by us, you can pay conveniently via invoice.
If you want to shorten the time you have to wait for your book, you can select the instant transfer. Here you must have a bank account which supports online banking. At this payment method your money is instantly at our bank account and your order in production.
Transferring data
Now your data will be prepared. To get a order number assigned, the designer needs a internet connection for a short time, even if you send your book data with a data medium.
A broadband internet connection is only necessary, if you transfer your whole data via internet.
If you have choosen the data transfer via internet, this can take depending on the size of the book, several hours.
If the data transfer is aborted by user or by loosing the internet connection, the transfer will be resumed at the next program start or next order. Click on "Next" as soon as the transfer is complete.
Finish order
If the book data was successfully prepared and transferred, the window for your finished order occurs.
Here you get
important information ,
like for example total cost, maturity of the payment and bank account data. With a click on the button "Finish" your order transaction is complete.
Check order status
If you want to know the order status of your product, click on "Check order status in the menu "My account". Here you can log in with your user data.
